FRIDAY, DECEMBER 5

South Side

7 a.m. – 8 p.m.  Shop Downtown Oil City & Finish Playing Small Business Bingo!

9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Children’s Art Show by Oil City K-12 Students, Oil City Library, Central Ave.

6 – 7 p.m. Santa Sightings by Firetruck

North Side

8 a.m. – 8 p.m.  Shop Downtown Oil City & Finishing Playing Small Business Bingo!

10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Christmas Tree Exhibit with free admission through Christmas Day, Venango Museum, 270 Seneca St.

Noon – 8 p.m.  Make a Wish List Weekend. Santa’s elves will assist, serving cookies and hot chocolate. All weekend. Transit Arts Gallery & Gifts, 206 Seneca St.

5 – 9 p.m. First Friday on Seneca Street becomes Jingle Bell Lane for one magical evening.

· Pop-Up Holiday Market Local vendors, bakers, and artisans will line the street with booths full of
handmade gifts, stocking stuffers, sweet treats, and seasonal surprises.

· Adult Beverages – Mingle and Jingle on Seneca from Billy’s to Double Play and along Sycamore

· Free Holiday “Sleigh Rides”, board at Elks Sycamore & Elm St.

· Don’t miss Kaleb Lewis’ “The Grinch”;get ready for photos!

· Refreshments for sale, restrooms open to the public, Elks, 111 Sycamore St.

· Fill the Fire Truck Toys for Tots Collection, Oil City Fire Department

· The Christmas Shop, Candy Cane Ring Toss, Snowball Challenge, and Ornament Kit, Oil City
Community Alliance Church

· Letters to Santa, Write and mail letters to Santa in his giant mailbox, and Santa’s Grab & Go Goodie Bags, while supplies last, sponsored by PPC Violence Free Network

· Photo ops and fun with Holiday Characters by Oil City Party House

5:30 p.m. Door unveiling. Come and see what’s behind the Secret Door! The Secret you don’t want to miss! Barr’s Insurance, 257 Seneca St.

6:15 – 6:45 p.m.  Live music: HOLeY Jeans, Venango Catholic Bell Choir, Town Square

6:45 – 7:15 p.m. The Performing Arts Academy with Darin, Town Square

7:15 p.m. Santa will make his grand arrival by our local Fire Department. The Star of the evening…Annual Christmas Tree Lighting, presented by Oil City Rotary Club, lit by Santa himself

The Grinch will parade everyone to the MAC Center for Elf, presented by FLEX

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6

6 a.m. – 8 p.m.  Shop Downtown Oil City & Finish Playing Small Business Bingo!

8 – 10 a.m.  Victorian Breakfast, Grace United Methodist Church, 100 Central Avenue 

Breakfast includes ham and egg casserole, fruit, dessert bread, juice, and coffee for $5, packaged to go with
seating available in the front hallway along West First Street. 

9 a.m.  Jingle Bell Run (5K Run/Walk), Hosted by Oil City Main Street Program, Registration at Elks.

9 a.m. – Noon St. Stephen School Breakfast with Santa $14 Adults, $12 Seniors, $8 Children 3-10, Children 2 and under free. 214 Reed St.

9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Vendor Pop-up, Core Goods, 2 E. First St.

9 a.m. – 4 p.m. The Christmas Blessing Shop. Find affordable new gift items to help fill Santa’s sleigh. 
Everyone is invited to shop for gifts and handcrafted items. Everything is $1, and there will be a gift-wrapping station.  Perfect place for kiddos to shop. Door prizes. Oil City Community Alliance Church, 411 Seneca St.

6 a.m. – 3 p.m.  Children’s Art Show by Oil City K-12 Students, Oil City Library, 2 Central Ave.

9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Holiday Happenings Craft & Vendor Show, Belle Lettres Club, 405 W. First St.

9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Sweet Treats Cookie Sale & Craft Show, YWCA, 109 Central Ave. Luncheon: In-house
homemade soup, sandwiches, and desserts offered from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. (takeout available), with the largest selection of homemade cookies.

9 a.m. – 3 p.m. The Victorian Christmas Bazaar, Knights of Columbus, 111 Petroleum St. One-stop shop, cash and carry. Perk Up Coffee and Magic Bus lunch available. Basket raffle for purchasing customers

10 a.m. – 4 p.m. The Victorian Christmas Too, Grace United Methodist Church, 100 Central Ave. 

10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Grace United Methodist Quilt Show, Free and open to the public; not a judged show; “Christmas Past Vintage Quilt Show” will be displayed, 100 Central Ave.  

10 a.m. – 4 p.m.  Christmas Tree Exhibit, Free through 12/31/25. Venango Museum, 270 Seneca St.
